Hello from Toronto,
After a social holiday in NZ, we don't mind being snowed in for a few weeks. To use a phrase synonymous with Bondi gym bros – it's time to lock in.
The reason this email is later than our usual ~fortnightly cadence, is because we've been creating content for our pre-order.
Pre-order
Our CherryCools and PeachCools will be available for pre-order from March 2 in three countries:
- Canada (where we live)
- New Zealand (where our friends and family are) and
- the US (the world's largest economy and our neighbour).
We'll eventually launch in Australia. And a few other countries. But it takes time navigating the respective medical regulators, so we've had to prioritize.
Content
We're 3 months away from our product arriving. Which means we've got 3 months to take mamacool from a small company known only to the people in this email chain, to a company with enough clout that we can sell a container of product.
We're launching our mamacool pre-order on Instagram and Facebook next week. We'll go live on TikTok a few weeks after…once Jack and I figure out what it is.
We're doing the content in house. We couldn't find a video editor we liked. And anyway, we should be the ones telling our own story. It's our reputation and money on the line. So we've got to get it right ourselves before bringing anyone else on board.
This means Jack's made his debut as a director. And I've made my debut as an actress. We figured out that our coat closet is the best recording booth. And Jack quickly figured out that saying "smile" doesn't result in more smiles.
